Overview
Educational institutions have a wide spectrum of resources to manage the day to day operations, from teaching to managing admin operations. With the push to help India achieve the National Education Policy (NEP) goals, there is an increased emphasis on digitization and the introduction of new technologies to students. Schools are also establishing robust IT and ERP practices to handle data collection and operations. However, as cybercrime evolves rapidly, educational authorities struggle to meet the necessary digital safety requirements. To ensure the security of institutions, their management, educators, and staff, we propose deploying a Cyber Security Officer (CSO). This expert, equipped with specialised skills in digital protection, will safeguard the institution's cyber environment.
